Collaboration with The Mrs Rawlinson Store
Here at The Lancashire Hypnobirthing Co, our collective of women is growing, and we are all here to support you.
Launching The Lancashire Hypnobirthing Co was labour of love built from an overwhelming desire to share the incredible experience of HypnoBirth that I had with my daughter.
I’d been planning every detail of the company since 2016. Nurturing and growing it slowly and consciously in to the business it is becoming today. I took my time to learn my craft, to be informed, educated and prepared so that I could support all of the incredible mums-to-be who trust me to share their pregnancy, birth experience and journey as mothers with them.
I took my HypnoBirth Diploma with Katharine Graves, who is currently teaching HypnoBirthing to midwives and birth professionals in hospitals across the country. The KGH teacher-training course is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives, so you can trust me when I say…we know our stuff! Most importantly though, I’m a Mama, who started off anxious about birth - and I can relate to all of the feelings your feeling.
It was over a year in the making before we were ready to launch the business, but it was never about being the owner of a company. I wanted to have a meaningful and positive impact on the experiences women have during pregnancy, birth and parenthood. After having a HypnoBirth with my daughter, Evelyn I can honestly say it was a game changer. I was, and still am, incredibly passionate about coaching the Mama’s I meet to feel fearless, strong, capable, empowered and ready to birth their babies and become mothers, just as I did.
Every detail I’ve decided on and every choice I’ve made for this company has been made for the women that I have worked with and will work with in the future.
I have spent the last few months meeting some incredible women who run businesses centered on making other women feel good, whilst raising their babies and caring for their own family.
This year, on Mother’s Day, I am so PROUD to stand alongside these women and welcome them in to my company. I am also thrilled to be able to share the love with my HypnoBirth Mama’s by expanding what we offer.
Today, I would love you to Meet and welcome, Mrs Rawlinson.
I met Emma through Instagram and fell in love with her online store and then with her. Emma is an incredible champion of women. We haven’t met in person just yet (thanks to winter bugs! Eurgh!) But she has a way of making you feel amazing with just a few words in a text – and that’s the kind of girl power I want and need to have around me.
Emma has curated not only a beautiful collection of gifts for mums and mums-to-be but an ESSENTIAL collection. When I was pregnant with Evelyn I would have loved to have a store like hers in my bookmarks. Emma knows how to send love to mums who need it. She has poured so much thought in to her products to ensure they are focused on mums health, happiness and wellbeing.
Her values and company ethos felt like a match made in heaven, so I asked Emma if she would curate an EXCLUSIVE gift for The Lancashire Hypnobirthing Co. I wanted the Mama’s I teach to know that every detail that goes in to their course is chosen with their needs at the heart and I wanted this gift to make them feel loved, healthy, happy and strong – what a way to start a course, hey!
So, (I’m so excited!) to share that from today, every mama-to-be who joins The Lancashire Hypnobirthing Co for their HypnoBirth course will be gifted this stunning Mrs Rawlinson box.
A blush enamel pin, which says ‘You got this’ – you’ll learn why positive affirmations are so important on the course ;)
The Sunday of London mini candle (Emma’s words, ‘basically because it's a must! Is smells amazing and perfect for a moment of calm’)
A lanolin lip balm for labour, which can be used for nipple balm afterwards too! It's made naturally by Little Beau Sheep, based in Yorkshire and a mum herself.
Two caffeine free teabags, which are pregnancy safe and made from natural lavender
And a lovely notecard, so that I can welcome you to your course – but mainly so you can keep it and use it as an affirmation card for how AMAZING you are.
With this stunning gift you’ll also receive your course notes, the KG Hypnobirthing book and a set of affirmation cards that you can keep around the house for important daily reminders of what a superwomen you are and how brilliant your body is.
You’ll also receive access to The Mama’s Hub, an online resource and community where you can download MP3 relaxations and affirmations, find support, information and signposts to fact based evidence on birth. We also have a little library of books that you can borrow during your course, rather than purchasing yourself…because lets face it, they can be super expensive for a few days of reading J
The Hypnobirth course I teach covers everything a traditional antenatal class covers but it goes further than that. It gives you the tools to make your own choices about your birth experience. It educates you on the physiology of birth so that you can support your body through it, gently and calmly. It explains all of the different scenarios, birthplaces and outcomes you may find yourself in so that you are prepared, for all eventualities and can make the right decisions for your growing family. It teaches you breathing, relaxation and visualisation techniques for pregnancy and birth that you will use for the rest of your life (trust me on that one!)
My course takes the fear of the unknown out of birth; and by removing the fear it allows you to feel calmer and happier, which will lead you to a better birth experience and start to your journey as a Mother.
Happy Mothers Day, Mama-to-be
Love Leanne x
